Our first video is available on YouTube now. It aims to explain the differences between vectors and scalars. It also shows examples of both, and quickly describes how to obtain the components of a vector.
Corrections: I said the force of gravity but meant to say acceleration during the vector examples, and I forgot to write down my units when finding the components of the vector.
The components should be
x = 5m/s*cos(45˚)
y = 5m/s*sin(45˚)
because the units of the vector are conserved in its components.
